San Diego, CA (November 6, 2024) – According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), one person was killed on November 6 following a vehicle collision along an elevated stretch of State Route 94 in South Park.
The incident happened shortly before 10:30 a.m. Wednesday near State Route 15 and caused one of the cars to plunge off the roadway. The car landed on SR-94 eastbound, on the Home Avenue ramp.
One man died at the scene of the accident, but his identity was not immediately available. It’s unclear if anybody else was injured in this crash, however. An investigation is still ongoing, and anyone with information for police can contact CHP in the meantime. We offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim.
