Los Angeles, CA (April 24, 2026) – A person died following a two-vehicle crash in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of East Los Angeles on Friday, April 24. Emergency units responded to the area of East 4th and South Clarence Streets at approximately 5:44 a.m.
A sedan collided with a truck before striking a power pole, leaving the sedan with severe damage. One person at the scene was pronounced dead. A second person was evaluated for injuries but declined further medical care.
Authorities have not released the identity of the deceased. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
