Los Angeles, CA (July 30, 2025) – Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who left a pedestrian to die in the Eagle Rock neighborhood of Los Angeles on Tuesday morning.
The incident was reported shortly after 5:00 a.m. near Colorado Boulevard and West Broadway. First responders arrived at the scene to find the victim down in the roadway. The unidentified person died as a result of the injuries, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson confirmed.
The driver involved in the crash did not stop to render aid and is being sought by authorities. No description of the suspect or the vehicle involved in the collision was immediately released, but an investigation is ongoing.
