Los Angeles, CA (November 13, 2024)—According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), a fatal crash shut down all northbound lanes of the 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles just as rush hour began on Tuesday morning, November 12.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported just after 5:00 a.m. near the 3rd Street exit. Witnesses observed first responders laying a sheet over a body in the far right lane of the freeway, and a heavily damaged vehicle was also seen nearby. The identities of those involved were not immediately available. An investigation is still ongoing, and anyone with information for police can contact CHP in the meantime.
