Los Angeles, CA (April 24, 2025) – A collision involving a vehicle and a bicyclist occurred early Wednesday afternoon, April 23, in Central Los Angeles. The incident took place just after 1:00 p.m. on the Interstate 10 eastbound off-ramp at South Normandie Avenue and resulted in injuries to the bicyclist.
According to California Highway Patrol reports, a silver Toyota Camry struck a bicyclist while exiting the freeway. The Los Angeles Fire Department and LAPD both responded to the scene shortly after 1:04 p.m. Emergency personnel provided immediate aid to the injured cyclist before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further care.
The off-ramp was temporarily blocked as first responders managed the scene and worked to investigate the cause of the crash. Traffic delays were reported in the area during the early afternoon hours as crews worked to clear the roadway. As of now, the bicyclist’s condition has not been released. Officials are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, and it is not yet clear whether any citations have been issued.
