Burbank, CA – Pedestrian Hospitalized After Driver Crashes into Building on Riverside Dr

Burbank, CA (August 9, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash left a pedestrian in critical condition and one car stuck in the side of a building in Burbank, police confirmed  onFriday morning, August 8.

The Burbank Police Department said the crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday in the 4200 block of Riverside Drive. Officers responded to reports of a major injury collision at 8:35 p.m. and arrived to find a pedestrian on the ground and the entire hood of a sedan stuck in a business building located on the nearby corner at 4252 Riverside Drive.

A preliminary investigation unveiled that two vehicles had collided in the intersection of Riverside Drive and Rose Street. As a result of the impact, one of the vehicles then struck a pedestrian who was standing on the corner before careening into the side of the business building. Paramedics transported the patient to a local hospital in critical but stable condition. No arrests were made, according to police, and everyone involved remained on the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
