Beaumont, CA (January 1, 2026) – Eight people were injured following a multi-vehicle crash this afternoon in Beaumont, according to fire officials.
The crash was reported shortly before 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 1. Emergency crews responded to the area near Lamb Canyon Road and Dump Road, close to the Lamb Canyon Landfill.
Firefighters arrived and located several damaged vehicles. One person was trapped inside a vehicle and required extrication. Crews requested additional equipment to safely remove the injured occupant.
While responders worked at the scene, a second collision occurred behind the original crash. Authorities said this secondary incident involved additional vehicles and increased the total number of injured to eight victims. One individual was listed in critical condition.
