Los Angeles, CA (April 13, 2026) – A 29-year-old man died after a hit-and-run crash in Northridge on Sunday, April 12. The incident happened around 8:15 p.m. near Roscoe Boulevard and White Oak Avenue.
Police said a gray 2006 Honda Accord was traveling east on Roscoe Boulevard when it struck the man as he was in the roadway. The impact dragged the victim for a distance before he became separated from the vehicle. The driver then continued east without stopping to help.
Emergency units arrived and rushed the victim to a nearby hospital. Despite efforts to save him, he later died from his injuries. Officials identified him as Deondre Deloatch.
Authorities are searching for the driver and continue to review evidence related to the crash.
