San Diego, CA – Motorcyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on S 43rd St

San Diego, CA (September 12, 2025) – A 43-year-old man was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Thursday, September 11, in the Mountain View neighborhood of San Diego.

The collision occurred around 8:17 a.m. in the 1400 block of South 43rd Street, according to the San Diego Police Department. A vehicle approached from behind, overtook the motorcycle on the left side, and then moved to the right, striking the motorcyclist. The impact caused the rider to be thrown to the ground.

The suspect vehicle fled northbound on South 43rd Street without stopping. The injured motorcyclist suffered a fractured right clavicle and abrasions to his right elbow. He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The investigation is ongoing. We wish the injured victim a full recovery.
