Camarillo, CA (March 18, 2025) – A car crash on Highway 101 early Monday morning left two people dead and another injured, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The collision occurred around 2:55 a.m. on March 17 on the northbound side of the highway, just south of Carmen Drive. CHP officials reported that a 2015 Ford Mustang was traveling northbound when it struck the rear of a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta.
Both occupants of the Jetta, described as adult men, suffered fatal injuries. Their identities have not yet been released. The driver of the Mustang, a 19-year-old man from Santa Barbara, sustained minor injuries. Authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the crash.
