Lucerne Valley, CA (July 10, 2026) – Both drivers were hurt on Thursday morning, July 9, after two semi-trucks collided on Old Woman Springs Road (SR-247) and Barstow Road, prompting a SIG Alert and heavy emergency response.
The crash happened around 6:55 a.m. when a single-trailer semi struck a double-trailer semi hauling rocks between its two trailers. One trailer was separated in the wreck, scattering debris and cargo across the roadway.
Both drivers exited their vehicles and were assisted by EMS. The full extent of the injuries was not disclosed.
The cause remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
