Fountain Valley, CA (August 28, 2026) – A teenager was critically injured on Thursday, August 27, when the electric motorcycle he was riding collided with a vehicle at Talbert Avenue and Second Street.
Police said the wreck happened around 12:44 p.m. A vehicle traveling west on Talbert Avenue was turning left onto Second Street when it struck an e-motorcycle traveling east in the bike lane.
The rider, a 14-year-old Fountain Valley resident, was taken to a trauma center in critical but stable condition. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The accident remains under investigation.
