Riverside, CA (August 27, 2026) – Two 14-year-old boys riding an e-scooter and an e-motorcycle were hospitalized with major injuries on Tuesday evening, August 25, after being struck by a car while crossing the intersection of Arlington and Mitchell Avenues.
Police say the teens, one on an e-scooter and the other on an e-motorcycle, were hit by a sedan traveling westbound through the intersection. Both were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
The 88-year-old driver was unharmed and was interviewed at the scene.
The wreck remains under investigation.
