Santa Ana, CA (April 19, 2024) – A 29-year-old man was charged, and the victim of a deadly motorcycle accident was identified on Friday, per officers with the Santa Ana Police Department.
Flor Mecon Granados, 44, of Santa Ana, died in a motorcycle crash on Thursday just before 3:00 a.m. at the intersection of Bristol Street and Segerstrom Avenue. The suspect was driving a 2024 Mazda when the SAPD says he collided with the motorcycle’s rear. Granados was pronounced dead at the scene, per officers.
The man was charged with driving while intoxicated, among other offenses, and awaits a hearing. No further details were released in connection with the crash, but the SAPD is handling the active, ongoing inquiry.
