Orange, CA (January 21, 2024) – The Orange Police Department reports that an adult male pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Sunday afternoon, January 21.
At 3:40 p.m. on Sunday, patrol officers were sent to the 2700 block of North Tustin Street in response to a pedestrian who was in the roadway. The authorities found the adult male in the third southbound lane of Tustin. The male’s injuries were consistent with those of a pedestrian crash, and the individual was declared dead once the Orange City Fire Department arrived. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit is overseeing the investigation and shut down southbound traffic on Tustin Street for six hours while they conducted their on-scene inquiry.
