Who Can File a Wrongful Death Claim After a Fatal Crash in Pacoima, CA?
In Pacoima and throughout California, a surviving spouse, domestic partner, children, and certain other qualifying relatives may be able to file a wrongful death claim. A personal representative may also bring the claim for eligible family members.
Because California generally allows two years from the date of death to file a wrongful death claim, waiting too long can affect whether a claim can move forward. A wrongful death lawyer can also help determine who may file and what insurance coverage may apply.
