Sylmar, CA (August 29, 2026) – A Los Angeles police officer was seriously injured on Friday, August 28, while investigating a separate traffic collision on Foothill Boulevard. The officer was in the 13550 block shortly before 7:50 p.m. when a passing vehicle struck him.
