Los Angeles, CA (July 31, 2026) – A man was left fighting for his life after being hit by a vehicle early Wednesday, July 29, near 7th Street and Gladys Avenue in Skid Row.
Police and fire personnel responded around 1:30 a.m. Responders found the man lying near the sidewalk with critical injuries and significant blood loss before he was taken to a hospital.
A man believed to be the driver or a witness stayed at the scene and spoke with investigators.
The collision remains under investigation.
