Los Angeles, CA (September 18, 2023) – Emergency personnel responding to a multiple-vehicle crash on Monday night discovered a victim in cardiac arrest.
At around 10:20 p.m., Los Angeles police and firemen went to a traffic incident on the 10200 block of Foothill Boulevard in the Sunland-Tujunga area to find one individual needing extrication from one of the cars.
One victim was determined to be in cardiac arrest due to the auto accident when LAFD crews arrived. The patient’s current condition is unclear, though they were taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
Another person also required medical transport.
The Los Angeles Police Department has blocked off the area and is conducting an investigation into the crash.
