Los Angeles, CA (January 19, 2024) – A man was killed on Friday evening when a hit-and-run driver struck him on a Los Angeles street, and authorities are seeking information from witnesses.
The fatal incident took place around 6:30 p.m. as the man was traveling eastward on Crenshaw Boulevard. The driver of one of the vehicles involved stopped to try to render aid while another motorist fled the scene. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics reported to the site shortly after the wreck but pronounced the man deceased before he could be taken to a hospital. As the South Traffic Division launches a search and continues its investigation, it is reaching out for witnesses.
