Los Angeles, CA (March 11, 2024) – Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man that occurred Sunday morning on the San Diego (405) Freeway near the outskirts of the Los Angeles International Airport.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the man was found at about 3:50 p.m. on the southbound freeway west of Century Boulevard. Troopers say the victim was likely hit by a fleeing motorist, though no details about the suspect’s vehicle or description were released. The investigation is being handled by the CHP, and no further details were released in the interim.
