Garden Grove, CA (October 29, 2023) – Early on Sunday morning, a vehicle collision in Garden Grove claimed the lives of one person and injured three others.
At 12:05 a.m., an accident was reported in the 12900 block of Newhope Street, close to Garden Grove Boulevard, as stated by GGPD Sergeant Royce William.
A 20-year-old man from Garden Grove was killed, while three others, including the driver, were injured.
Upon arrival, firefighters from the Orange County Fire Authority declared one of the car’s occupants deceased at the site and sent the driver and two other passengers to nearby hospitals in critical but stable condition.
Investigator John Yergler requested that any witnesses reach out. An investigation is still ongoing.
