On Sunday, July 19, authorities identified the man killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Mead Valley as 23-year-old Christopher Osorio of Perris.
The collision occurred around 5:37 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, at Rider Street and Old Elsinore Road. According to witnesses, three vehicles were involved. A white car reportedly sustained extensive rear damage, while another vehicle was also heavily damaged.
Emergency units assisted those involved and evaluated the injured. Crews pronounced Osorio dead at the site and found two other people with injuries.
One person sustained critical injuries, while another had minor injuries. Officials have not released their names or provided further details about their medical care.
The California Highway Patrol continues working to determine what caused the wreck and whether any driver will face charges.
