Anaheim, CA (December 30, 2023) – On Thursday, after the park’s closure, a chemical spill at Disneyland injured two workers. At around 2:00 a.m., the hazardous material team of Anaheim Fire and Rescue was sent in response to a chemical leak at the park, resulting in a vapor cloud of chlorine and another unknown cleaning ingredient. While one employee was treated by EMTs at the scene, the other was sent to Orange’s UCI Medical Center for further care.
The incident is reportedly being investigated by the Anaheim Fire HazMat unit, though no additional details have been released regarding the cause of the accident or the conditions of the victims.
