What Is a Wrongful Death Claim After a Fatal Crash?

A wrongful death claim is a legal action that surviving family members may file when a person dies due to another party’s negligence. California’s comparative fault system allows victims to recover compensation even if the pedestrian is found more than 50% at fault.

A wrongful death lawyer can help evaluate the circumstances, identify all liable parties, and pursue damages on the family’s behalf.
