Los Angeles, CA (October 9, 2025) – Eight people sustained injuries on Wednesday morning, October 8, when a Metrolink train entering Union Station struck a parked train.
According to Metrolink officials, Ventura County Line Train 104, carrying 85 passengers, collided with an empty train around 7:30 a.m. Paramedics transported one passenger to a local hospital, and they treated six others, along with the train conductor, for minor injuries. Emergency crews responded quickly to assist victims and assess the damage.
Investigators are still working to determine what caused the collision.
